Hi there! I'm a natural light wedding photographer based out of Taneytown, MD, but I travel to just about anywhere.
I'm a twenty something lover of rom-coms, The Bachelor, kitties, the beach, and all things warm and sunny - sooo any tropical place. I also love me some good books, anything peanut butter, and fuzzy blankets. I truly believe you can never have too many blankets or pumpkin scented candles. You were probably already scrolling around my website and thought we may be a good match, so you sent me a message and I got this page to you...YAY! I am so dang thrilled that you're interested in me capturing your day. It's SUCH an honor.
The first step: You've already done it! You've sent me a message :)
Once you've read through this investment guide, I can forward along links to a few sample galleries and a copy of the contract. This guide includes most information, except for style guide information on engagement sessions. Just let me know if you have questions. To save your date, I require a $650 retainer and a signed contract. All dates are booked on a first come first serve basis.
The second step: Booking information - what you're looking at!
Engagement sessions are complimentary. So, you'll get to know more about me, I'll get to know more about you, AND you'll receive a full gallery of beautiful images for you to use as save the dates or guest books! Your job is to get dressed up and have fun! My job is to make you feel comfortable (and to tell you what to do with your hands), and take beautiful portraits of you! Once you book, just be in touch when you're ready to schedule. From there we can pick dates and you can begin planning! Sessions are limited to locations within 30 minutes of Taneytown, MD.
The third step: Planning your engagement session
Two months prior to your wedding, you'll receive a link to my questionnaire in your inbox. Once you fill that out and it gets back to me, we can build your timeline! You're so close to your wedding day! So, hand that stress of making a timeline over to me. I'll gladly coordinate with your planner or day of coordinator to make sure we're organized.
The fourth step: Questionnaires & Timelines
YOU'RE GOING TO THE CHAPEL AND YOU'RE GONNA GET MARRIED....okay, I'll stop. BUT seriously, take a deep breath and let me worry about all the things. Go marry your person! I'll be cheering you on all day, making sure your hair and dress are always on point, and being your very own personal third wheel taking photos all day long.
The fifth step: WEDDING DAY!!
In no more than four days after your wedding, you'll receive a handful of sneak-peeks from me. Share them and use them every where you wish! Your full gallery will be in your inbox 6-8 weeks after your wedding.
The sixth step: Photo Delivery
After looking through all of your images on your computer, the best way to keep them forever would be with an prints or an album. If you're interested in learning more about albums, send me an email and I will forward along more information. If you just want prints, you can order them right through the online gallery.

Engagement Sessions
Engagement Sessions are complimentary in specific packages and aren't required, but highly recommended!
Engagement Sessions are a fantastic way for us to get to know each other! You two will spend an evening dressed up and in front of the camera. You'll leave knowing me a little better, so that when I show up on your wedding day you'll already be comfortable around me. The images from this session can be used as save the dates, wedding decor, or just beautiful images online or printed in your home for you to enjoy!
Sessions are complimentary so they cannot be substituted for additional hours, but if you don't think you want to have your pictures taken twice (engagements + wedding), then opting for the package with no session may be best for you! Instead we can meet over Panera, or on the phone (whichever is easiest), and chat about wedding day plans and you and your fiancee's love story.
Once you book your engagement session (please let me know when you're ready to schedule it!), you will receive a full guide that goes over locations, outfits, and just about anything you can think of. Please take the time to read through the guide. Not only is your wedding day photographs an investment, but so are these sessions!
....and don't worry, we will get some of those images of you smiling at the camera, you running around, and I will tell you what to do with your hands!!

Photos STRESS me OUT, any help? I'm nervous!
You are totally fine! Getting your photo taken can be nerve-wracking. You'll get a guide before your engagement session that includes all the information you can think of. As for nerves, I'll have you moving and talking and possibly running, and you'll quickly see there's no need to be nervous! :)
Engagement Sessions are included in my full day package. The engagement session is complimentary, so the price of my full day package doesn’t change if the engagement session is or isn't completed.

If I don’t need an engagement session, can the price be adjusted?
When and where can I complete my engagement session?
Engagement sessions that are booked with signing for a wedding photography package can be scheduled anytime after booking, during the months of March-November. Engagement sessions must take place within 30 minutes from Taneytown, MD, but can be at a place of your choosing! I have to limit travel due to weddings :).

How do I receive my photos?
All high resolution digital images are delivered through an online photo gallery. When photos are ready, you will receive an email with a link, password, and download code. Following the link leads you to a page where you can view all of your images.

When do I receive my photos?
For any type of portrait sessions, it will be 4-6 weeks for photos to be returned to you. For weddings, it will be 6-8 weeks until photos are returned. During that time period, sneak peeks will be sent to you and posted online. Your patience is greatly appreciated as I am always working as fast as I can to get your images returned to you!

How many photos will I receive?
For portrait sessions, the minimum photos returned to you are 50. For my full day wedding package, the minimum photos returned to you is 800.
